Manager’s Message – New Happenings In Whisler Ridge

Spring is here and the Board of Directors have been actively working in Whisler Ridge.
New Parking Rules:
New parking rules, permitting and variance request procedures were adopted by the Board during the May 16, 2017 meeting. A copy of the revised parking rules can be found under the documents/general section tab of this website or by visiting the homeowner Vivo portal.
Street Sealing Coat:
Thank you everyone for your cooperation while the second coat of asphalt sealer was applied to the streets on June 5th and 7th. The Board realizes this can be a temporary inconvenience and appreciates your patience.
Home Landscape Maintenance:
The heavy rains this past winter are a welcome relief. Even to weeds. Yes weeds like water too and you may have noticed their increased growth in your personal landscape. Please take some time to remove the weeds from your front yard areas and add additional mulch if it has thinned and dirt is exposed.
Parking/Driving:
When driving through the community be sure you are not using excessive speeds.
Dog/Pet Care:
Please be sure you are picking up after your pets and disposing of waste properly. Keep in mind you are responsible for properly cleaning up after your pet in common areas, and under no circumstances should pets be allowed on private property to relieve themselves without properly picking up after your pet. We do not want this waste contaminating the water or being left behind for a neighbor to step on.
Taking Care of the Common Area:
Be sure to place trash and debris in the proper disposal bins and not left behind in the common area. Also, be respectful of neighbors’ property by not leaving behind debris, trash and any other items on private property. Trash cans and any other type of garbage shall be stored out of site and screened from view. No odor shall be permitted to arise from the trash or trash containers. Trash containers may be placed outside in view for trash pickup for a time period not to exceed twenty-four (24) hours before and after scheduled trash collection hours. Trash cans may or may not have access to yard for storage.
General Awareness:
If you see anything in the community that should not be going on, suspicious activity or people not respecting the community in general, please contact the local police department providing as much detail and documentation as possible.
If you are ever unsure of who to contact regarding any concerns, please feel free to contact Action Property Management at (949) 450-0202 so Management can address them.
Lastly, the July bi-monthly Board meeting will be on Monday, July 10, 2017 @ 6:30pm at Roundtable Pizza, 27472 Portola Pkwy, Foothill Ranch, CA. Due to Board member scheduling conflicts, the July meeting has been rescheduled for July 10th. The September meeting will resume on the third Tuesday of the month. Be sure to check the community website for updates and details regarding the community.
