The winter rainstorms brought much needed water to the State and to the local area.   Our landscape plants love the extra water, but unfortunately so do WEEDS!   The Association asks that homeowners please try to remove them during their inevitable growth.

Tip: To help control weeds, maintain a thick 2-3 inch covering of mulch.

Tip: While some grasses will grow to fill in a bare spot, some varieties do not or won’t grow fast enough to fill in this season.  To fill in a dead or bare spot in the grass, homeowners may need to add one or two applications of grass seed to the bare spot.  A little grass seed will fill in a bare spot within a couple of weeks.
