The Board of Directors looked into removing the red curbs from the cul-de-sacs in the community. After discussion with the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA), it was determined that this project cannot move forward. OCFA states that the diameter of the cul-de-sac must be 80 feet. The diameter of the Whisler Ridge cul-de-sacs is 76 feet. OCFA was asked if the sloped portion of the curbs and sidewalk could be used to achieve the 80 foot minimum and the answer was, no. OCFA was asked if an exception could be made, again the answer was no.
